Family: Parents deceased. Grandparents are Satoshi and Kasumi.
Fighting Style: Hokushin-ryu, Weapon: Naginata (he gets a trident later) Devil fruit: none
Dream: to find Gungnir and become the greatest warrior in the world.

Likes: Fishing, sailing, training and alcohol
Dislikes: People who disrupt his training, people who mock his skills with a spear and people who underestimate the dangers of the sea.

Nickname: Sapphire Marlin, Bounties: 35,000,000; 145,000,000; 200,000,000.

Personality: Composed while loving adventure and challenges. He is usually a calm and collected person but is also the type to seek a challenge whether fighting strong opponents or sailing rough seas. He has his own sense of honor. Due to the constant brash and reckless things his grandfather put him through he has learned to constantly keep his composure even in the most hectic of situations. He loves and respects the ocean just like the rest of his family. Despite constantly being surrounded by load and chaotic people, both in his home and on the ship, he is easily able to ignore the rest of the world through meditation unless it is something serious.

Appearance: He has blue spiky hair and green eyes. He wears  a short sleeve Grey gi top with a whirlpool symbol on the back and dark blue martial arts pants.

History: The Yamamitsu clan has specialized with their spear style and sailing for generations. They have always strived to master their art and find the legendary weapon gungnir. Akira was raised by his father Tsuna and grandparents as his mother died giving birth. As he grew he developed a love for the sea and adventure as well as great admiration and respect for his father. Akira began his training in his family’s style at the age of 10. Hokushin-ryu is a style in which its attacks are based off of the three elements of a storm; wind, lightning and rain. Wind represents slash moves, lighting represents thrusts and rain represents attacks in which the spear is thrown.

At age 14 while he was training with his father out at sea their got caught in a sudden storm. They got out of the storm with little trouble but unfortunately forced into the calm belt, they tried to row out of it but this attracted the unwanted attention of a massive Sea King. Tsuna managed to kill the beast with some effort but the amount of blood that was left in the ocean attracted more. Seeing no way to escape Tsuna managed to see a ship sailing just outside of the Calm belt. Thinking quickly Tsuna grabbed Akira and tied him to his spear and hurled him as hard as he could. The last thing Akira saw before passing out from shock was his father kicking a Sea king in the face before the rest swarmed him. He woke up on the ship and after explaining the attack the captain of the merchant ship decided take Akira back home.

After a month of mourning Tsuna’s death Akira’s grandfather Satoshi decided to continue the boy’s training, he decided to make him stronger by training him the same way he trained Tsuna. While Tsuna’s training methods were anything but easy they were nowhere near as extreme as Satoshi’s. One of the common training methods was throwing young Akira off of a cliff and wait for him to climb back up. Akira went through numerous hellish training and almost died many ties. Akira could be considered living proof of the phrase that which does not kill you makes you stronger; to him the training was worth it as his mind, body and spirit grew stronger (plus it was worth it to see his grandma punish the old man’s insanity). As he matured he started hunting sea monsters around the island and selling them as food as well as fighting off the occasional pirate raid. He knew he had become stronger but in his mind he still felt he had to train more on the island before going out and seeking Gungnir. He constantly had the image of his father’s final moments haunting his memories and this instilled a sense that he was still weak. Akira still felt in some sense bound to the island, at least until a certain pirate came to town.
Here is my second character and first mate of the crew. He is essentially the straight man of the crew and usually tries to ignore the overall recklessness of the rest of the crew and usually fails. I'm not going to give away anything about how Akira and Nate meet but let's just say Nate will make plenty of jokes about how his "spear" is much longer than Akira's. Compensation jokes FTW.
P.S I' will have to post the third Bio early tomorrow, heading out with the family tonight.
